ASEANCHAM-EU is glad to welcome our newest member, BDO!

BDO is a global professional services organisation with its Global Office located in Brussels, Belgium. Founded in 1963, BDO has over 111,000 partners and staff in 164 countries including all 27 EU member states and all 10 ASEAN member countries. It has a solid reputation in providing services such as audit and assurance, tax and legal, accounting and reporting as well as complementary, specialised advice to support clients wishing to grow their businesses domestically and across borders. The BDO approach is personal, hands-on, pragmatic, geared towards results and tailored to the client’s needs. Organisations always have a single point of contact and a BDO office in direct proximity. In Belgium, they currently have over 950 partners and employees spread throughout 12 offices across the country, particularly focussing on ambitious SME businesses.

As the world’s fifth largest accounting network, BDO joined ASEANChamEU in January 2023 to support the Chamber’s objective of assisting businesses from ASEAN, wishing to establish and grow their presence in Europe. As the BDO Global Office is situated in Brussels and actively engages with EU policymakers on regulatory and policy matters, they also hope to share this experience with other Chamber members, for mutual benefit.
