WTO ruling agrees that EU’s RED II unfairly discriminates against Malaysia’s palm oil but the 7% limit on palm-based biofuel is allowed.

Following the trade dispute brought by Malaysia against the European Union at the World Trade Organisation, the dispute settlement panel has since issued its first ruling, agreeing with some, but not all, of the charges brought by Malaysia against the EU, as well as France and Lithuania.
