Conrad's professional background encompasses over five years of experience in both private and public sector roles, including experience at an EU agency. Presently, he is also a fellow at the Effective Institutions Project, where he spearheads the research on decision-making processes of the EU institutions and leads the engagement with EU stakeholders.
Conrad recently graduated from a MA in International Political Economy in Brussels and gained insights on EU-ASEAN trade and investment relations as part of his dissertation research. In addition to his native German, he also speaks intermediate Italian and French, and basic Mandarin Chinese.
He supports ASEANcham-EU with monitoring relevant EU legislation and developments, engaging with stakeholders, expanding the organization's member base, and developing and implementing strategies to improve ASEANcham-EU’s performance and impact.
