Following years of preparation, the EU Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act finally entered into force on 1st August 2024 with the aim of promoting the responsible development and use of Artificial Intelligence.
Singapore and the European Union Conclude Negotiations on Landmark Digital Trade Agreement
In a first EU agreement of its kind, the European Union and Singapore concluded negotiations for a Digital Trade Agreement (DTA). The DTA will complement the existing 2019 EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement and aspire to be a global standard-setter in the digital economy and cross-border data flows.
