Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive – More Obligations for Companies to Report on Their Sustainability Efforts
On the 5th of January 2023, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) entered into force as part of the European Union’s wider commitment towards the European Green Deal. Estimated to affect most firms operating within the EU, the CSRD and the CSDDD, which is in the works, are poised to increase the reporting obligations of companies conducting businesses in the EU single market.
