EU Commission wants to extend CBAM scope to downstream products and subsidise EU exporters with CBAM revenues

The EU Commission proposed new controversial updates to its CBAM, by using its carbon tax revenues to subsidies EU exporters, and expand its scope to cover Aluminium and Steel. It also put out a call for evidence for 3rd party country for CBAM calculation and certification.
