ASEANcham-EU, together with ACA Football Partners, brought together more than 100 business representatives, the ASEAN Ambassadors to the EU and Belgium, and the Japanese Ambassadors to EU and Belgium for a business networking lunch on 17 December, on the occasion of KMSK Deinze’s football match against Standard de Liège 16 FC.
The event was graced by EU senior official Ms Leila Fernandez-Stembridge as well as Mayor for Deinze Jan Vermeulen and Flemish Senate President MP Stephanie D’Hose. ASEANcham-EU Chairman Andries Gryffroy gave his opening remarks on behalf of ASEANcham-EU, while the Ambassador of Myanmar to the EU, who is the current chair of the ASEAN Brussels Committee, also made a speech on behalf of ASEAN.
