The European Union (EU) is planning a significant overhaul of its packaging and packaging waste policies, hoping that it would enhance sustainability and promote the circular economy, and ensure all packaging in the EU is reusable or recyclable by 2030.

24th AEMM in Brussels reaffirms support for trade and investment between EU and ASEAN, even amidst challenging times
The 24th meeting of ASEAN’s and EU’s foreign ministers, also known as the EU-ASEAN Ministerial Meeting (AEMM), took place in Brussels on 2 February. The meeting covered a wide range of issues from economic and trade issues like the Global Gateway Initiative and the potential ASEAN-EU FTA, to political discussions on Myanmar, Ukraine and Israel-Gaza.
